As for the announcement, the hospital now has a wing to treat magical maladies. Witch doctors and the like are welcome to come check it out. People with magical maladies also welcome to come get treated, I don't know how any of this shit works.

There's really not that much work. The bots with nametags are especially trained for emergencies, and the ones without can handle most minor stuff.

I've just been assuming if shit happened all the magic healers would step up, but if they're all gone maybe I should invest on magic potions or whatever.

I don't understand the question. By "shit happening" I mean if shit happened here in Etraya, missions are a completely separate beast during which I often can't afford to worry about anything beyond my own survival.
