[ Today is a... complicated one for Ardyn, to say the least. No one but him knows why though and he'll likely keep it that way.

What does fate mean to you?

[ He appreciates now more than ever the auto-correct feature. He should probably invest in some reading glasses eventually, but that'll be a problem for Ardyn-with-a-headache-from-squinting-in-the-dark-at-a-small-screen and not the Ardyn of now. ]

Sort of, I suppose. I'm more going for the notion that there are so many choices and so many paths, there's no meaningful difference between "choosing to follow a path" and "doing whatever you want".

Mm. I'd feel more accurate in subscribing to that entirely if I hadn't spent years chasing one guy futilely. Not how I would have chosen to spend my life.

If that were true, everything would be completely pointless. So I assume it isn't. That's as simple as I can see it.
