what do you do when something you were told, turns out not to be true anymore? not true here? when you have more time than you thought. i didn't have to really think about the future. but here, i don't have to worry. i can plan. i mean, besides helping on missions.

Well, based on the reaction to your question, it certainly seems like there are plenty of people who'd like to get to know you. I'm sure you'll be making new friends in no time.

But I know what it's like to feel alone here. Are you close with anyone back home?

you think so? i hope so. i'm trying to. even if i don't have my friends from home with me here.

When I first arrived, I didn't know anyone here. But after a while, some of my friends appeared. Maybe some of yours will, too.

But until then, it seems like you're getting a good start on meeting new people. What are some of the other suggestions you've gotten so far? Anything seem like a good way to approach your new future?

i'm not sure if i hope they might show up as well or not. but you're right. i'm trying to make the most of things. make friends here. i've been told making a list might be a good idea.
