what do you do when something you were told, turns out not to be true anymore? not true here? when you have more time than you thought. i didn't have to really think about the future. but here, i don't have to worry. i can plan. i mean, besides helping on missions.

what feels true to me? i guess. i suppose i just kind of expected, resigned myself to not living for much longer. and now aurora said i can, here. i'm just trying to figure out what to do with that, now.

my new truth. yeah. i'll think about it. it's just not something i had to consider, back home. what i'd do next.

[He had just kind of....rolled with helping out his friends. Traveling with them. But here? It's different.]

yes! the baby chocobo chicks are really cute! we rode them sometimes. if we were going further out, we'd usually take an airship, but sometimes we would ride the chocobos.

[Vivi hasn't been the most secretive about it. He's not sure there's reason to hide it, beyond that it might upset or worry people.]

black mages don't live for very long. usually only for a year or so. but here, aurora said i don't have to worry about that. so i'm just trying to process that, i guess?

What are chocobos?

i can see if they have some going here. even if it might not be 'i want to be your canary'. chocobos are these big birds, usually yellow, but they can be other colours, and you can ride on them or use them to help pull carriages. there are some here, i've been told.

If not here, then perhaps on some of these worlds we'll be visiting.

Are there? Beasts of burden, then— like horses? But not used for food like other poultry?

oh, like how scott said hamburgers were important? i am making a list of the foods i try, so i can tell quina all about them if they come here, too!

I like cheeseburgers. Sweets, too. And sour candies. Those are the best.
