Chirper
Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!
There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
- Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
- When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
- Characters can either like or dislike others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
- This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
- For those who do post a top level, CHIRPER profiles are worth five extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These five extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!
**This is a fixed version of the code, sorry about that!

Gustave | Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Q: What important lesson have you learned during your time here?
A: To be grateful for extra time with people I love.
Q: Pumpkin spice season: yes or no? Try a latte at Corinne's Café!
A: Sure.
Q: Do you have any personal traditions or hobbies that help you feel more at home?
A: Listening to music, fiddling with projects, writing in my journal.
Q: Could you describe the most challenging mission you’ve faced, and how you handled it?
A: Adopting Maelle. I handled it by settling most disputes with a duel, which worked just fine until she got to be a teenager. I'm less likely to win, these days.

This is Gustave, an educated and creative man of 32 years with a penchant for kindness, passion and curiosity. While you’ll often find him bent over his workstation, putting together his latest invention, he’s hardly tethered to the indoors! He is also a capable traveller who never tires of new sights and experiences. He stands at 183cm and sports a head of beautiful, dark curls, and eyes you can get lost in. He is fond of children and is quick with a blade, and has a true romantic heart. To know him is to adore him.
Sound too good to be true? Of course it does. Be forewarned that he is completely blind to any and all attempts at flirting or innuendo, and will attempt to talk to you about bascule bridges or Ferris wheels motors instead. Do not give up! Your perseverance comes with great reward. I have it on good authority that he is an excellent kisser.
If you’d love to take a crack at this devoted family man looking for his last first date, please send him a message immediately.

[ Stop trying to check that off your bucket list!!! ]
Don't you think this is a little excessive? That isn't even my real height.

That hardly seems gentlemanly to bring up.

I do find it useful for helping me sort through my thoughts.

There are similar exercises that provide a direction and structure that is easy to follow, should writing prove difficult.
no subject
What other exercises? Sometimes it's... not so easy, putting pen to paper.

It sounds as though you have some rather supportive friends here, too.
no subject
Yeah. Things may be complicated here, but I'll always appreciate the second chance it's given me.
And yes... supportive.
[ Is that the word he'd choose, looking at Sciel's public service announcement. ]
Sciel means well, but I'm not sure her message is going to have the desire outcome.
[ That is, getting him a date. ]
no subject
As will I. I never could have imagined a place like this or what it could bring.
She certainly seems to be trying her best, and she seems tenacious. Everyone needs a hobby. You could take mercy on her and grant her bucket list wish, assuming you find someone you would like to go on a date with.
Have you picked up any new hobbies since coming here?
no subject
You know, I haven't, really? I've been enjoying learning about all the technological advances people have made in worlds older than mine, and I like getting to hear new kinds of music. But most of my hobbies are the same as they always were... working on a model here and there, trying to optimize some of the equipment we have.
...I'm realizing that looks a lot like my only hobby is also work. What about you? Has anything new caught your interest since you've been here?

Well, Gustave imagines that wasn't the only terrible thing the fog made him relive. ]
I'm just glad I was there to help. It would have been far riskier for you to try and deal with it on your own.
How are you doing, now?
no subject
I'm glad, too. It was a bit of a shock, at first.
[ Had Gustave not arrived, Vax may not have snapped out of his stupor. ]
I'm alright, I guess. I'm sure everyone's a little shaken.
no subject
[ Physically, anyway. He hasn't had a good night's sleep since the fog dissipated, himself, even if his injuries were minimal. ]
And I'm glad to see you're in better spirits. That's much better for going out dancing.
[ Yes, he saw that! ]
