time for the bimonthly NYX report. introductions, i'm sophie cuckoo, your resident telepathic mutant barbie, hopefully it's nice to meet you. anyway, if you're new here, there's a gigantic building in charronway that i run for community strengthening purposes, called NYX. we have classes from swordfighting to demonic magic 101, and we serve homemade lunch and dinner made by our people.

so, as per usual, if there is a class you'd like to take or teach, please let me know and i'll see what i can do. second thing, we need more cooks, so if you want to help out, also just let me know.

place is also available for meetings, gatherings, parties if you're fun and know how to throw one, lectures, or whatever. i'm there during the afternoon, chrissy takes the morning shift, and always go through her first if you need me during that time.

as the end of it, as per usual, as a building exercise, let's do the usual. it goes over so well whenever i do it. tell me your problems, and i'll tell you how to fix them*.

The underworld and the human world used to be the same place and i'm sure you can imagine how that went for the humans... Sparda was a demon but he turned on his own kind to protect humanity, he split the worlds apart and sealed the demons in the underworld. he even married a human woman

but humanity is a choice, it doesnt matter if your a demon or not

Sure, it's a choice, but that doesn't mean some aren't fighting an uphill battle.

What kind of skeletons does a handsome demon hunter from a heroic lineage have to hide?

huh?

well i mean everybodys got their shit. i was more thinkin of people like my uncles partner. shes a full blooded demon and was created spesificly to kill him, but she chose to side with him instead and now theyr best friends

meanwhile some of the shittiest fuckheads ive ever known were all human. so in my experence it's not what you are it's how you act and how you treat people

yeah so do demons. lots of people suck. lots of em don't too. bein a "demon" is also a choice

oh i can really only speak for myself i guess, its different for my dad and uncle

i'm only a quarter but i can run fast. hit hard. rly strong. got wings now too. sposed to heal fast but still workin on that one. other stuff

fuckin sucked finding all this out alone when i was a kid

Yeah, I know how that goes.
Where I'm from we have normal humans and mutants. Mutants have a quirk in their genome that gives them powers. Sometimes it's just a change in appearance, and sometimes it's more than that. Telepathy, a healing factor, super strength, energy generation, you name it. Humans really like to kill mutants.
Demons are something else. They come from one of the Hell dimensions and feed on souls and suffering. Their nature is different.

yeah the demons we hunt aint far off from that. most of em anyway, like i said. if they show up in the human world it's generally to kill and eat humans and drink theyr blood. hence the hunting

Guilty as charged. When I was a child I was kidnapped to one of those Hell dimensions and had to claw my way out.
