Assuming the Fae of Auriel share the same aversion to iron as those of the Feywild from where I am from, I am offering to craft temporary weapons and tools from non-iron materials for anyone preparing for the mission. My trade lies in metalwork, with modest skill in wood and leather. Brass, bronze, bone, horn, or seasoned wood are all suitable.

Time before departure is limited, so I can only take a few commissions.

Separately, I am pursuing a personal project involving spell storage and glyphcraft. If anyone has experience in such work, I would appreciate a private exchange of ideas.

This is Stygian Iron, but I don't think I want to take any chances. Even a dagger would be better than this. You can put me at the bottom of the list though - I don't need a sword to fight.

Stygian iron, you said? I cannot claim familiarity with that alloy, but if it behaves anything like true iron, your caution is wise. A dagger will serve you better. I will keep you at the bottom of the list as requested. Do you have a material you would prefer, or is bone acceptable?

Ugh, you're going to make everyone think I'm the creepy kid who's fascinated with bones. I'm not. I'm ... embracing my lineage and welcoming the opportunity to wield a bone sword as a child of Hades? Shouldn't you be glad I'm not complaining that it's not bronze?

It seems that line struck you harder than I meant it to. When I called your enthusiasm admirable or alarming, it was meant as a light tease, not a warning or a judgment. Your answer came through with a surprising amount of certainty, and I reacted to the tone of it. That is all.

You mentioned someone named Hades. I do not know who that is, but it is clearly part of your reasoning and I respect that. I do not need the reference to understand that you prefer bone.

Bone is a workable material for me and it suits your request. I will make the dagger.

Truly, there was nothing more behind the remark. A little dry humor, nothing sharper than that.
