Chirper

CHIRPER

Welcome to our bi-monthly CHIRPER post!

There are a few ways to interact with CHIRPER:
  • Characters receive a notification to please fill out the form, which is fully optional. There is a character requirement of two characters per answer field. This is to discourage leaving the spaces blank.
  • When forms are not filled out, they can be filled out by the companion bots of Etraya, or by other characters on behalf of their friends! This includes the Q&A section.
  • Characters can either like ✅ or dislike ❌ others' CHIRPER profiles. These responses are public.
  • This is voluntary on an OOC basis; if the character doesn't have a profile completed by themselves or anyone else, nothing shows up for them on CHIRPER.
  • For those who do post a top level, profiles are worth 5 extra points regardless of if they are put up willingly by the character themselves. These 5 extra points do apply to the 25 maximum per month.
Please feel free to switch out any of the Q&A questions with those listed here!

Getting to know you!

Q: If you could visit the home world of someone you've met here, whose would it be?
A: I would aid Vax's world.

Q: What are your favorite things to do on vacation?
A: I have not been on vacation.

Q: Have you learned any new skills since coming to Etraya, or are you interested in learning any?
A: I have learned to heal minor pains, operate a car, and pick locks. My cooking has improved.

Q: Which Zodiac animal are you?
A: I am unfamiliar, but should I not be a dragon?

Hello, if I may ask: What do wild wyvern tails look like?
oblige: (look)

[personal profile] oblige 2026-03-08 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Good day to you. If you'll allow me a moment, I can show you.

[ He makes his way to his balcony and turns his device's video function on. What comes into view are two large window boxes partially shaded by a dappled canopy, full of faintly glowing purple blossoms. ]

They do not typically exude light, but these are the flowers I referred to.

[oh--right. pictures that move! instant illusions, right from the floating device! that...is not magic!

wonders never cease.]

They are beautiful! Thank you very much for taking the time to show them to me. I do not think I've seen their like before.

[ The technology may as well be magic. ]

You are most welcome. They're native to my world, though the variety grown in my homeland has white petals.

[ He likes these better for their meaning and the memory of the gift his old tutor made of one such flower. ]

[white, huh...]

I don't really know much about plants, but I find I like to see white flowers the most. Especially in dark places. Like stars.

[ Like stars... ]

Do flowers naturally exude light in your world?

[ He takes a fiddling moment or two to turn off his camera. ]

There is s rooftop garden with a variety of flowers someone requested that you might consider visiting.

I was endeavoring to be succinct.

In my world, the one chosen by an Eikon can take on its form, which is known as Priming.
neonrain: ([e-soul] 3)

[personal profile] neonrain 2026-03-08 12:05 pm (UTC)(link)
And Eikons are... legendary creatures? Gods?

How were you chosen?
oblige: (mull)

[personal profile] oblige 2026-03-08 12:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Magical beings with godlike strength, of which there are few. Each is warden of one element.

As for how, I suppose it is a matter of the soul. We know not how an Eikon chooses, only that they incline toward certain bloodlines. Yet they may select no one for generations.

I've gathered that yours is a tight-knit group, though I could hardly say I know too much beyond that.

In my homeland in particular, great wyrms are considered servants of the goddess herself. Smaller varieties are raised, or tamed, and they are clever beasts, but they do not harbor ambitions of conquest. Those in the wild generally keep to themselves.
