A true pity but I never quite learned to appreciate wine, I always considered it a cliche.

Perhaps it's time to broaden your horizons if you haven't experienced the true pleasure of a well-aged whiskey or if you really want to have a unique experience, vodka.

Then you have never had good wine, poor thing! I have heard some people make it solely out of grapes, which is wrong. There needs to be a bounty of flavors in each sip.

I would agree to an extent. Personally, I think being an emperor would be terribly boring. The first thing to be done would obviously be abdication. Gold threaded clothes are a poor trade for one's ability to enjoy life.

Mm it depends on your company. If you are ruling side by side with your soulmate, it might not be so bad.

Intellectually, yes. Socially, no. They're usually traps rather than challenges.

I disagree. My parents are actually fond of one another and they barely have any time with each other. And they are less busy than they would be if either of them were the emperor. The logistics of maintaining power and administering territory and empire take time away from one's lover. It would also be quite annoying to deal with people trying to kill said lover in order to take their place.

I would prefer to have a position where my loved one was safe. Or at least where if they were in danger it was consciously chosen and due to something that would bring them joy.

The traps are the challenges! How do you evade them? How do you use the trap against your opponent? Believe me, it is possible. I managed it only recently.
