That'd kind of be any of us trained in combat, especially if we've had to kill before.

I don't know, is there any possibility of people opting into trackers? Mutually, so we can try to have an electronic system to check and verify who's real, who isn't, or what isn't what it seems?

It could be a good way to counter whatever hallucinations that might happen. The paranoia and delusions may affect how we perceive the tracking so perhaps there should be safeguards on top of that

We can leave the uh... okay so I'm usually the one getting tracked, but the control for it? In Aurora's care. Then if we have ways to see it but not directly touch it, we can at least know that much is "true." And the animals are going to be protected elsewhere. So the only things "really" moving should be us, or the hallucinations, right?

I'm not a danger to anyone, but there's always the Ulysses option.

When the sea captain Ulysses knew he was sailing into waters populated by creatures that could overtake the mind and did so to bring about destruction, he ordered himself tied to the mast of the ship and ordered everyone on board the ship to obstruct the senses that were used as an opening until they'd passed.

If people lack their abilities, they can be restrained more easily. Another option would be preventing the particles from taking effect, for example by rendering someone unconscious.

It's a crude manner of handling the situation, but we don't know the balance of people will be safe around others versus those that won't. Despite Aurora's call for 'teamwork', the more involved a plan is, the more likely it is break down if the person carrying it out is not in their right mind. The more people a plan requires to execute safely, the more likely it is to fall apart if the people stop trusting one another.

I disagree with the person above. I do not believe we should trust Aurora to assist us.

It's an area underneath the monastery. The plants can eat people though, so I wouldn't suggest it to everyone.

I'd second An Zhe on that count. Easy to make yourself scarce; Abyss is a virtual labyrinth beyond the settled areas. And as for those, there's always picking a room and holing up.

Plenty of traps and fortifications you can repurpose if you're especially cautious... Just make sure someone knows to bring you provisions if you need them, yeah?

Maybe but for me, it may mean taking a mission pass from Aurora instead of coming up with our own solutions.

Peace, R.B. If we do not have any of our powers what possible danger could we truly pose? As long as one knows how to defend themselves or run there should be no problem.
